Sharon Bushman Photography Blog » upper east side http://sharonbushmanblog.com Sharon Bushman - New York City Proposal and Wedding Photographer Sun, 19 Jun 2016 00:42:09 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=3.9.40 Sam + Kiri – Wedding in Central Park : Conservatory Gardens http://sharonbushmanblog.com/?p=216 http://sharonbushmanblog.com/?p=216#comments Wed, 15 Jun 2011 01:36:47 +0000 http://sharonbushmanblog.com/?p=216 Sam and Kiri came to NYC all the way from Australia to tie the knot on a beautiful day in May.  They had been to New York on vacation together and both decided that when they got married they wanted it to be here in the Big Apple.  They chose the gorgeous Conservatory Gardens in Central Park for their ceremony.  We stopped briefly at the Plaza Hotel where they were staying (SO swanky and beautiful!) to freshen up and snap a few photos.  Then it was back into the park for a few more shots before they left me to enjoy dinner at the Boathouse restaurant.

I had SUCH a great time with you both.  I hope you are happily enjoying married life down under!

]]> http://sharonbushmanblog.com/?feed=rss2&p=216 1 phil + vicky – wedding at All Souls Church, nyc http://sharonbushmanblog.com/?p=160 http://sharonbushmanblog.com/?p=160#comments Thu, 28 Apr 2011 18:42:58 +0000 http://sharonbushmanblog.com/?p=160 Phil and Vicky along with their family and close friends flew to New York City all the way from England to tie the knot.  Their original plan was to get married in Central Park, however the rain and cold moved their ceremony to All Souls Church on the Upper East Side.  The wedding was planned to perfection by Julie Lindenman from I Do New York.  I work with Julie quite a bit and it’s always a pleasure!  The ceremony was beautiful and the space was just right for the occasion.  After the ceremony, we did some group photos in the church. Just as we were about to head over to the Empire hotel for some bride and groom portraits, we stepped outside and lo and behold, the rain had stopped!   Yay!  Happy photographer!  We took some photos on the gorgeous grounds of the church and then hopped in a car to travel to the hotel.  The Empire is located right across from Lincoln Center, so we took a few shots there until we were scolded by security…apparently you need a permit to shoot there.  Who knew?

Thank you Phil and Vicky for letting me be a part of your day.  I had a blast!  You were just a pleasure to be around and your friends and family were just lovely!  Have fun at your hometown party in May!
