alex + christine – wedding in brooklyn, nyc

On a windy, cold day in February, I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Alex and Christine.  When I walked into the house in Brooklyn, I was greeted by a very calm, happy bride-to-be.  She was all, “Oh, I’m good.  Not stressed at all.”  And she wasn’t, not one bit.  The ceremony took place in the living room with just their closest friends and family watching.  Some from the staircase, some from the sofa.  The ceremony was performed beautifully by one of their close friends and the vows were personal and touching.  After the ceremony, the guests lit sparklers (TRIED to light sparklers!  The wind made it near impossible) to greet the newly married couple.  Then we hopped in a limo and stopped off in Park Slope and Brooklyn Bridge Park to get some portraits.  When most couple’s would have complained about the wind and cold,  Christine and Alex showed nothing but pure happiness.  It was such a pleasure.  Plus, who doesn’t love a chapel length veil blowing in the breeze?!   Thank you both for such a memorable, happy day.

Here are a few of my favorites.  Please CLICK HERE to view their slideshow.  Tons of really great moments in there.

Linda - Capturing such a happy time in a couple’s life, must be one of the most rewarding “work-experiences” there could ever be.
I see a happy couple in these photos but I also see signs of a photograph professional who loves her work and captures the most beautiful moments for the happy couple.
